Quite possibly the most amazing thing to ever be amazing in the last few years. Why am I so late to the game?

ASkars, I previously thought of you as a decent actor and fairly hot.

Now? I want your babies. Like woah. Sgt Colbert is just...if I ever saw the man in real life (the soldier, not ASkars), I'm pretty sure I'd make a fool out of myself. Same with Nate, Patterson, and Ray. Awesome people. Those are what I call marines.

The actors aren't bad either. ;)

Where the Wild Things Are came out today....

My world has pretty much ceased to exist until I am able to see it. Seriously. I learned to read using this fucking book. It owns my life.

Maurice, Spike...you two are my heroes. For reals, yo.

So has anyone on my flist seen this yet? Thumbs up, thumbs down? Not that I won't go see it anyways. Reviews on twitter seem to be largely positive.

On the other hand, I spent the majority of yesterday inventorying the remains of a juvenile, and he was one of the most intact skeletons I've handled. I was able to completely number and identify his whole vertebral column, and he actually had all of his ribs. Just call me Bones V2.0 

In other news:  SUPERNATURAL YOU ARE SO AWESOME I JUST 
CAN'T HELP IT! We got one-tear Dean again? And emotional talk. And REUNITED BOYS! So good. Jared was awesome in the episode as Lucifer, and Dean was just....it can't be easy to attempt to be comedic when you're playing both characters. Awesome. This show owns my life.

 Why did I want to do this again?

Oh yes, because I'm an idiot. 

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure this thing is going to kill me. Attempting to write a lengthy fic during my last semester of undergrad, while I'm also preparing for grad school, was not the smartest choice. I just hope I don't utterly fail and receive zero reviews, or primarily flames. That would suck, to put it mildly.



In other news (okay, fandom news, really):
House- Goodbye House, may you burn to the ground. You are no longer the show I once knew, and the recently leaked news caused me to lose all respect for you.

NCIS- So far it's been good to me. Please remain to do so, show, and forego making Tiva canon. I'm afraid I'll have to leave if this happens.

Gale Harold/QAF- YES! OMG YES! Who else is stoked for this? I can't handle it. I kinda hope he's the bad guy.

Eureka- I <3 this show. It's one of the few shows that can make me love pairing the main character with almost anyone. I'll be sad to see Tess go. Now, just bring back Stark and we'll be solid. Nathan/Jack ftw!

BSG- I'm still not able to watch my BSG box sets. My discontent with the series finale is still too strong. They killed all that was good about my girl by the end.

SGA- Same for this too. McKeller burned that show to the ground, I'm telling you. It was supposed to go many more seasons, and would have if they hadn't forced Keller and McKay together. It's trufax. :( McShep forever. 

Supernatural- I love this show. I just love it. That is all.

Glee- Also awesome. Supernatural still beats it, though.

Legend of the Seeker- Keep up the chepic goodness. It owns my life.

Bones- I felt the premiere could've been better, but I still love it. Bringing back Wendel helped. I love that dude so much. I want his babies. Which is saying something, seeing as how I don't want kids.


*I'm pretty sure the fact that I have no actual news in regards to my RL is beyond sad. I'm so boring. Hmm...my birthday is next month? that's kind of exciting.*

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...

Glee= Amazing. Seriously can't stop watching it, especially the last scene. Evil of them, to use my love of Journey and classic rock against me. Let's hope they don't do Kansas or Styx...

I'm also possibly ready to venture back into the world of Battlestar Galactica. I'm still pissed off at the massive letdown that was the series finale, and the end of Kara's storyline, but I'm sure fandom will rectify that, and I'm ready to stock up on new fics.

In other news, my mom and I just watched Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage.....well, it was good for eye-candy and a laugh...that's about it. Also been on a Gilmore Girls marathon since my mother likes to think we're the real life GG, so I've been watching baby!Padalecki for the past few days....I'm so stoked for season five.

Sill disappointingly less stoked for Torchwood. Stupid spoiler person who has yet to be punished!

At least there's hints that Ed Quinn isn't completely done with Eureka.....and Warehouse 13 seems to be an okay show. And two seasons of So You Think You Can Dance? in one year? AWESOME!

 I realize it's probably incredibly stupid, but my whole night was pretty much ruined by some oblivious poster on a torchwood lj who just spoiled all of the western seaboard who hasn't been able to see Season Three of Torchwood yet. Luckily, there was immediate backlash, but I've seriously been stoked for this season, especially since all I've let myself read is stuff along the lines of, 'Holy shit this is good!'. Now, this season is completely ruined. Biggest spoiler ever, and they haven't even apologized for it. Way to go. All of my excitement over the finale in particular has now left me. 
It's petty, but I kind of wish they would be punished for doing something so blatant. Seriously, ALL of the fandom has been able to avoid spoiling so far as I know, and now this ruins it for anyone who has torchwood_fic on their flist.

 Haha anyone else think I might be crazy? I've just started a QAF fic which I'm still writing the first few chapters of, I have the texting Ribs 'verse for SPN RPS, and now I'm already writing the NCIS Gibbs/Dinozzo bigbang?!

And, I need to find a beta. Soon, preferably.

And then I thought of how Brian would react given the majority of the movie takes place in the hospital, in the room of a patient in a coma, and I thought....oh, so less funny and an ass-load of angst, then. Thus, this little story was born. It works as an angsty little stand-alone, but I'll probably continue this, if it's well-received. I realize some people might see this as ooc, but I think Brian is someone who is brutally honest with his emotions, just not to others. He fully knows his feelings regarding Justin by now, but that doesn't mean he'll say them aloud. Writing them is an outlet...

So, there's this little show called "So You Think You Can Dance". 

IT'S AMAZING! Seriously, the talent coming out of these people? I actually cried tonight watching a 17 year old Asian guy dancing a mix of ballet and contemporary, he was that good. I had to rewatch it multiple times. Last week there was a kid using an umbrella as a prop, to represent his dead aunt...same thing. Beauitful.

Basically, I wish I hadn't given up dancing....I wonder if it's too late to go back? 21 is young, correct?

On the other hand...PEOPLE! If you are so bad at dancing I have to cover my eyes, WHY ARE YOU THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?!

 So, this is my first post, and I'm fairly certain no one will actually read it, but should someone stumble upon this, I'm sure they'll understand this:

OMFGYAY SHELTER!!!!!!!!!!

As an avid fan of Queer as Folk, and someone whose otp's are 99% slashed characters (Gibbs/Dinozzo? J2? McShep?), I've heard of Shelter many times. Finally got it on netflix today and Jesus. That movie? Amazing. I'd seen the clip shown on Amazon and it made me weary, just because I wasn't sure of the quality. In the end, I'm so glad I gave it a shot. The actors, the writing, the shooting? All incredible, and now one of my favorite movies. I've already downloaded the soundtrack off of itunes. 

Trevor Wright and Brad Rowe are two amazing actors who definitely did justice to their characters, and deserve to be getting bigger roles. 

Seriously. In love. Will possibly be dreaming of this movie when I go to bed tonight.
